Step 1: Raw Material Sourcing

Working as a contractor with farmers in Shaanxi Province who are GAP-certified. Before it is accepted, each crop batch goes through a 312-pesticide screening.

Step 2: Pre-Processing

Industrial washers clean up the field. Automated peeling and deseeded lines handle 5 tonnes of fruit and vegetables per hour while reducing exposure to oxygen.

Step 3: Spray Drying

160 to 180°C at the intake

80 to 90°C at the outlet

This quick drying (less than 30 seconds) keeps the carotenoids better than standard drum drying (shown by HPLC tests that show 22% higher retention).

Step 4: Milling & Classification

Jet mills make sure that the particles are spread out evenly. For stable suspension of beverages, vibrating sieves make sure that the uniformity is between 80 and 120 mesh.

Step 5: Quality Release

Note about solubility: Mix in a little warm water (40 to 50°C) first before adding to the main batch. Levels of stability: 3.5 to 7.0.

Smell: Mellow pumpkin smell that is typical

Slightly sweet, with no bitter aftertaste

A: Freeze-drying retains volatile aromatics but costs 3-4× more and produces lighter, fluffier particles that may cause excessive dust in industrial mixing. For nutritional density above fresh taste, our spray-dried version is cheaper.

Q: Can this substitute fresh pumpkin puree in recipes?
