Fruiting body powder has medicinal substances (polysaccharides, beta-glucans) that were concentrated when the mushroom was fully grown. Mycelium-on-grain goods usually have 50–80% grain base (starch, fibre), which makes the active ingredients less concentrated. Our HPTLC tests show that the plant is 100% Lentinula edodes and there are no grain marks.
